SR22 Insurance Forms
Many people have been given a DUI or DWI charge, been in bad car accidents, received multiple tickets over a short period of time, or even had their driver's license suspended or revoked altogether. In many of these cases, the court may order you to carry an SR22 insurance which is essentially a document showing proof of financial responsibility should an accident occur or in case you get pulled over. The SR22 insurance form is a document you can get from many different insurance companies, such as Progressive, and it will probably cost you, but it is not the same as standard insurance. Many people required to carry an Sr22 insurance document will have to do so for at least three years, if not more. These tend to be very long term situations, since the offenses leading up to this court requirement usually take years to add up.
